DESCRIPTION:

This was quite the journey, my first real bullet hell game attempt and my first project made with the Godot engine! I made the music with Music Maker as well, which I haven't used a lot so far. So all in all, a big learning experience!

Due to various complications and a lot of the development process being new to me... I couldn't actually playtest this game at all, in time for the jam submission deadline. I usually like to thoroughly playtest my games, so that feels a bit bad, but I still liked this jam a lot!.

I hope the game's still fun to play!

The aesthetic is inspired by anime such as Sailor Moon, Megazone 23 and City Hunter. The game splash art pose in particular is referenced from a Megazone 23 still.

Update 2023.07.26: I patched the game with a lot of smaller quality of life fixes and gameplay changes, because I thought the previous rushed and untested version was a bit of a waste of the game's assets! I hope it's more fun now than it was before.
